Severed finger found at robbery scene

ALBUQEURQUE (KRQE) - Albuquerque police say a piece of a finger was left behind at a crime scene Saturday night.
Police were called to a local smoke shop at 4th Street and Montano Saturday night after a report of shots fired at a robbery.
Police say the suspect fled after he and the the victim exchanged fire.
Police think that the victim may have shot off his own finger.
Search dogs and police were out last night looking for the suspect but were unable to find him.
They say a finger print cannot be taken from the severed finger.
