ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Funeral services for Michele Turner, one of two women killed during Monday's deadly shooting at Emcore Corp., were held Friday morning.
Friends and family came together at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church for the 36 year old known to friends as "Scrappy."
Police said Turner was sitting with Robert Reza's ex-girlfriend when he entered the courtyard at Emcore and opened fire.
Turner had been a research technician at Emcore since 2001.
Reza's girlfriend, Adrienne Basciano survived the shooting and remains hospitalized in critical condition.
A visitation was held Friday afternoon for Sharon Cunningham who was also died from her injuries in the Emcore attack.
The rosary was scheduled for Friday at 7 p.m. at the French Lomas Chapel.
Cunningham was the first one shot outside as she was transferring office supplies. Three other Emcore employees also suffered gunshot wounds but have been released from the hospital.
