ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - UNM police are investigating reports of another groping attack on campus.
It happened late Monday night near Castetter Hall on the southern part of campus, just off Central Avenue.
A woman told police a white male wearing a red sweater grabbed her, groped her and then took off. He's described as being about 5 feet 10 inches tall and wearring glases.
Another woman said last week she was jogging near Johnson Field when two African American men grabbed and groped her.
Right now police do not know if these two cases are connected, but they want women to know about them and be extra careful.
Police have released sketches of the two men in the first attack, one with a crooked front tooth, but they are still looking for all three suspects.
"We're hoping someone will recognize these people and will call us and let us know who they are or at least bus us a tip to go after them," UNMPD Lt. Robert Haarhues said at a news conference Tuesday morning.
UNM police are setting up a tip line hoping to get more information about whoever is groping these women and about other crimes in general.
Tips can be sent by e-mail to PoliceTips@unm.edu or called in to 277-2241.
Police aren't sure if any of the suspects are students.
