ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Gang Unit detectives tracked down and arrested the second suspect in the Sept. 29 shooting that wounded two bouncers at an Albuquerque strip club.
Details of the arrest of Richard Gallegos, 31, were not expected to be released until a criminal complaint is filed and he is booked into the Metropolitan Detention Center.
Isaac Montoya, the suspect triggerman, was arrested Wednesday after the Albuquerque Police Department Gang Unit traced him to a hotel in the city.
Gallegos also was suspected of violating his parole from a narcotics-trafficking case.
The shooting occurred early on the Saturday morning after the bouncers had ejected a man from the Fantasy World Nightclub on Jefferson Street NE near Interstate 25.
The bouncers each took a bullet in the leg and are recovering from their injuries.
