ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - A San Juan County family is on a desperate search for a woman who vanished on her birthday.
Investigators say Cynthia Losing, 51, was last seen Friday at her home in Aztec.
Her daughter called to invite her to lunch, but Losing refused because she wasn't feeling well. When her husband came home that night, Losing and her car, a black Chrysler 300, were gone.
Losing's daughter says her mother was excited about her birthday, and would never leave without telling her where she was going.
Her purse, phone, money and vital medications were all left behind.
The only thing taken from the home was a lap top computer.
“There’s so much running through my head I don't know what happened I don't know if somebody wanted to jack her car and she caught them and something happened there or I have no idea we have no leads no nothing,” Kristi Finleysaid.
Losing has multiple tattoos, including a tribal anklet and the word Mike tattooed on her left ring finger.
If you see her call the San Juan county sheriff's office.
