Roswell murder victim ID'ed

ROSWELL, N.M. (KBIM-KRQE) - Roswell police have identified a man found murdered in the city earlier this week.

A bicyclist on the Spring River exercise trail spotted the body of Ronald Ericson in the dry channel on Monday. Police said Ericson was identified through his fingerprints.

Police believe Ericson was homeless and living under a railroad bridge that crosses the river.

A cause of death has not been released.
