ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Things got a little tense on the stand today as the defense in the Ron Bell trial started laying out their case.
KRQE News 13 photographer in the courtroom said there was a heated exchange between Bell's attorney and a pharmacist.
Prosecutors claim Bell was high on prescription medicine when Bernalillo County deputies pulled him over on Tramway Boulevard for weaving an speeding in June 2010.
The defense denies he had taken any medication that day.
