ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - A man claiming he had a gun stuck up a Bank of America branch in Albuquerque's Northeast Heights Friday night, the FBI is reporting.
The robber stuck at about 6:15 p.m. presenting the teller with a note demanding money and implying he had a weapon. The bank is inside the Smith's store on Academy near Wyoming NE.
Witnesses said the robber was an Anglo 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-9 and weighing about 175 pounds. He had some facial hair, possibly a goatee, and was wearing a gray long-sleeve shirt with some type of logo, possibly blue jeans and a multicolored baseball-style hat with a skull design on the front.
He left with an undisclosed amount of money.
