ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - A man charged with robbing an Albuquerque bank and trying to flee on a scooter pleaded guilty in federal court Wednesday morning.

On April 15 Ryan Scott Davis, 33, held up the New Mexico Educators Federal Credit Union on Indian School Road in northeast Albuquerque.

He then hopped onto his getaway scooter and fled. Several blocks away, while trying to turn from Indian School onto Pennsylvania Street NE, he ran into a police car and was arrested.

Davis will remain in custody until he's sentenced to up to 20 years in prison.
