Prostitute in Murdoch case faces judge

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - The prostitute at the center of a high profile investigation that brought down District Court Judge Pat Murdoch faced another judge Monday.

Renae Padilla was arrested last month for allegedly throwing rocks at her boyfriend and biting his arm.

Police had to use a stun gun on Padilla to get her under control.

She pleaded not guilty to aggravated battery.

Over the summer, Padilla gave investigators a videotape of her having sex with Judge Murdoch. She also accused him of rape.

Charges against the judge were dropped, but could be re-filed later.

Padilla is being held on a $10,000 bond in the domestic violence case.
