SANTA FE (KRQE) - Santa Fe police have arrested four men they say were responsible for at least half the city's recent robbery cases.

Police say there have been 24 robberies reported since the beginning of October.

They've arrested:

  • Robert Romero, suspect in seven cases
  • Arturo Luján, suspect in three cases
  • Gonzalo Villa and Erick Jordan, suspects in four cases

The city says burglaries, which have been a big problem there, are down while robberies are up.
