ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Officials are on the hunt for a sex offender who is possibly armed and on the run, after he failed to report to his probation officer.
Byron Boyd, 39, failed to check in with his probation officer on December 17th.
The corrections department has not been able to locate him since.
They say his GPS device is no longer working.
A warrant has now been issued for Boyd’s arrest.
Boyd is serving a 20 year parole sentence, not scheduled to be complete until 2031.
