Police say woman ran over boyfriend

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - An Albuquerque woman is in jail after police accused her of breaking her boyfriend's hip and pelvis by running him over with a pickup truck.

Police said Rhonda Estrada, 34, fled the scene after running over her boyfriend's leg following an argument at the couple's home.

The incident happened Friday evening on the 1700 block of Silver SE.

Police later caught up with Estrada at San Mateo and Central.

She claimed she was upset that day because she wasn't going to see her kids and that she didn't know she drove over him.
