ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Albuquerque police caught a female robbery suspect, largely because of her pink sweats.
Olivia Collins-Romero, 29, appeared before a judge Saturday on armed robbery and assault charges.
Police said she pulled a knife at a Chevron gas station on the 7300 block of San Antonio NE, threatened the clerk and took off with the store's cash on Friday.
The clerk told police the suspect was wearing pink sweat pants.
Police later found a woman wearing pink sweats, trying to rob a Giant gas station on San Mateo by telling the clerk that her husband was in the parking lot with a gun.
Collins-Romero was eventually identified as the suspect in both robberies.
