ROSWELL, N.M. (KRQE) - Roswell police revealed what led a Roswell man to shoot his neighbor and then turn the gun on himself.
Police said Monico Carbajal, 51, was upset that his neighbor, Roman Hernandez. 26, was playing his music too loud Monday night, so he confronted Hernandez and demanded he turn it down.
The two men then argued, and police said that's when Carbajal returned home, got a gun and shot Hernandez.
Police said when Carbajal realized what he did, he went back home and killed himself. Hernandez was flown to a regional hospital in serious condition.
He is still recovering at a Lubbock hospital.
