Police are investigating a suspicious death in a northwest Albuquerque home.
Originally it was thought to be a homicide, but the incident was later deemed a suspicious death.
Around 3 p.m. Monday, police officers were dispatched to 4300 66th Street NW on an EMS call.
At the home a woman told police officers she found her boyfriend unconscious and not breathing, according to Officer Nadine Hamby.
Firefighters confirmed that a man in his 50s was dead inside the home.
After interviewing witnesses and examining evidence, police ruled the death suspicious.
Police are now waiting for a cause of death from the Office of the Medical Investigator.
