Police investigate overnight hit-and-run

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Albuquerque police are investigating what appears to be a hit-and-run involving a pedestrian.
    
Tuesday evening, a fire truck almost ran into a person who was lying on 98th Street near I-40.
    
The victim was unconscious and bleeding from the head.
    
Authorities say the pedestrian had just been hit by a vehicle that took off.
    
The victim is in critical condition at the hospital.
