ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Dozens of cats are up for adoption after an Albuquerque woman was found hoarding them.
Animal welfare took more than 30 cats from an apartment near Juan Tabo Boulevard and Central Avenue Wednesday.
As sheriff's deputies were evicting the tenant for not paying her rent, they found the animals including one that was dead.
The city says animal officers had been at the apartment before.
