Person of interest sought in robberies

SANTA FE (KRQE) - Santa Fe Police are looking for a person of interest in three bank robberies in less than four months.

Investigators think all three robberies are related.

The man is still unidentified to the FBI, but they are hoping that once his picture is released, somebody out there may know who he is.

Officials say the man was seen in the area of the U.S. Bank in Santa Fe shortly after the robbery on Monday.

Santa Fe police and the FBI are desperately trying to find the person who walked into the U.S. Bank in the 3700 block of Cerrillos Road and pulled a gun.

They also say the same suspect may have been involved in three other robberies in the Santa Fe area this year alone. One at the New Mexico Bank and Trust on Paseo De Peralta and the other at the Century Bank on St Michael’s drive.

The suspect is described as white or Hispanic, 5’6 to 5’9 with a medium build and somewhere between 20 to 30 years old.

He was seen wearing a green hooded jacket, black ski mask, dark pants, black boots and light colored surgical gloves.
