Out-of-this-world theft suspect busted

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - The man suspected of stealing a meteor worth $40,000 from a museum has been captured.
Police believe Derek Douglas took the 50-pound space rock from a University of New Mexico museum and sold it to a dealer in Missouri for $1,700.
Douglas has had a warrant out for his arrest since last week.
He was found Wednesday when police said he broke into a restaurant on the UNM campus.
