Out of control driver hits two cars

RIO RANCHO, N.M. (KRQE) – Police think a driver that took out two cars in Rio Rancho on Monday evening may have been drinking.

The man was driving on NM 528 when he hit one car near Southern, kept going and then hit another car near Northern.

"He didn't have no concern for our lives when he hit us. He just kept on going. And no concern for what he did, and he just, he just went on," Adam Valdez said.

Officers said he crashed into a concrete barrier at NM 528 and NM 550 on the Santa Ana Pueblo.

The unnamed driver was treated for minor injuries and then taken to jail.
