ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Officials made an unusual marijuana seizure at the Santa Teresa port of entry.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection seized more than 700 pounds of pot over the weekend that had been tightly squeezed into a hidden compartment on an F350 flatbed truck.
Agents say something didn't seem right when the truck entered from Mexico.
Then they x-rayed the vehicle and found the stash.
Jose Manuel Gomez Serrano, 55, was arrested.
He is a legal permanent resident living in Portland, Oregon
