Officer nearly hit by impaired driver

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - A man almost hits a police car while making an illegal turn but the cop was not the only one in danger.
Friday, police tried to pull over 33-year-old Erby Mexicano after he made an illegal turn and almost hit a patrol car.
Police say Mexicano then went on to park at a Furrs near Coors and Iliff, where officers say he appeared impaired and reeked of pot.
Cops say he also had two small children in the back seat of his car.
Police say Mexicano admitted to smoking weed earlier Friday afternoon.
They also say they found marijuana and cocaine in his car.
He was in court Sunday on child abuse and possession charges.
