SANTA FE (KRQE) - A Santa Fe police officer has been arrested for pulling his gun in an off duty confrontation with another man.
Police say Christopher Sandoval got into a dispute outside a Rio Rancho Walgreens Friday afternoon.
The other man wanted Sandoval to move his car, there was a heated argument which allegedly ended with Sandoval pulling his weapon and pointing it at the man.
Sandoval, a four-year veteran of Santa Fe Police Department was arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
He's been put on desk duty pending the outcome of the criminal investigation and an internal department investigation.
