NMSU students pepper sprayed on campus

LAS CRUCES (KRQE) - Chaos erupted at a New Mexico State University religious rally Monday, when an man pepper sprayed students and students tried to retaliate.
State Police say Jason Salais, 25, not only pepper sprayed the crowed, but hours earlier they say he chased after Las Cruces firefighters with a gun.
After the incident with pepper spray, with cameras in hand, students chased after Salais. He ran from the crowd but some of the larger male students wanted him arrested.
The students tacked Salais, and one of them threatened him with a belt. At one point, the man claimed to be a government agent and then danced.
Minutes later police arrived and arrested him.
Salais is now facing multiple criminal charges.
