ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Two New Mexico men are in jail after an Alabama drug bust.
The Jackson County sheriff's office says 42-year-old Jason Russell Zubia and 26-year-old Charles Allen Torres were stopped on a highway in Stevenson, Alabama for a traffic violation.
The officer requested assistance from the narcotics unit.
A canine searched the vehicle, finding pill containers containing "hydroponic" marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Both are charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and second degree unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
