FARMINGTON, N.M. (AP) - A San Juan County jail worker has been arrested for possessing child pornography.

Farmington police arrested 47-year-old Donald McDonald Jr. Wednesday evening while he was serving food to inmates at a DWI treatment center.

A news release issued by police says the arrest was the result of a monthlong investigation by Farmington Police Department Computer Forensic Investigators. They received a tip July 11 that McDonald might possess child pornography. Detectives executed search warrants at McDonald's home.

McDonald was charged with 21 counts of felony sexual exploitation of a child and one count of tampering with evidence.

McDonald works for a private food service company contracted by the county to provide food for the jails.
