ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Investigators should be releasing more information Monday regarding a deadly shooting that left one dead in northeast Albuquerque.

Residents in the neighborhood near Eubank and Constitution were shaken up after gunshots rang out Sunday afternoon. While little information has been released, KRQE News 13 has learned that the man killed was shot several times.

Albuquerque police spent much of the afternoon canvassing that neighborhood Sunday, talking to residents and potential witnesses.

Neighbors told News 13 crews at the scene that they didn’t recognize a green Chevy pick-up truck parked in front of the home where the shooting happened. Investigators took pictures of that truck for evidence.

One man near the scene said he had heard from police that the incident could be linked to some sort of domestic dispute.

As of Sunday evening one person has been detained but no arrests have been made.
