ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Law enforcement agencies are hitting the streets this weekend trying to curb drunk driving for those celebrating Halloween early.
APD conducted a DWI sobriety checkpoint near the intersection of Central and Broadway on Friday.
They made 12 DWI arrests and seized one vehicle.
BSCO says they made 11 DWI arrests Friday and overnight a total of 16 people were arrested for DWI.
Several of them were arrested for aggravated DWI.
That combined with the nearly two dozen people arrested Friday overnight, nearly 40 people have been busted so far this weekend.
