ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - A man who has been on the run for seven years will be returned to U.S. from Mexico for the murder of a Clovis boy.
The New Mexico attorney general's office says Noe Torres is scheduled to be returned to the U.S. Tuesday.
Torres was wanted in the murder of 10-year-old Carlos Perez back in 2005. The boy was supposedly not the intended target.
Torres was located earlier this year after he sent a letter to the governor asking that charges against him be dropped.
Once he's back in Curry County he will be arraigned within 48 hours.
