ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) - On Friday, a Bernalillo County Metropolitan Court judge increased an accused killer's bond by one million dollars cash.

The man is accused of killing his ex-girlfriend and a University of New Mexico professor in Albuquerque last Sunday.

At the time of the murders, Ralph Montoya was out of jail on bond from a January charge when he allegedly attacked Stefania Gray and her new boyfriend Hector Torres.

Under the conditions of his release in that case, Montoya was ordered by the court to stay away from Gray and Torres.
