CLOVIS, N.M. (KRQE) - A Clovis mother is behind bars after her two kids missed more than 100 days of school.
The school district said it warned Nicole Pitcock, 34, repeatedly that her kids were missing too much school and even sat down with her to talk about the issue last week.
Police said that is when she presented them with forged doctor’s notes.
Pitcock is charged with two counts of forgery and two misdemeanor truancy violations.
