Mom & boyfriend charged with child abuse

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - An Albuquerque mother and her boyfriend have been charged with child abuse after her daughter’s daycare called police.
Ashley Sandoval has been charged with three counts of child abuse after her daughter showed up at daycare with bruising to her face and jaw line.
According to a criminal complaint, daycare workers called police claiming this was the second time the child had come to school with bruises on her body.
CYFD called Sandoval asking to talk to her about the bruising but she said she couldn’t talk because she was at work. Later Sandoval told police maybe she or her boyfriend, Daniel Hrubienski, had accidentally bumped heads with the child.
Both have been charged with child abuse.
