ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Two men linked to a series of violent home invasions and an armed robbery have been indicted by a Bernalillo County Grand Jury.
Joel Meeks and Raul Ortega each face 75 charges stemming from three separate incidents in mid-January.
In one of the most violent crimes – Meeks is accused of leaving a home invasion victim to drown in a bathtub while hog-tied. That victim did survive.
Meeks was caughtly shortly after that home invasion.
Ortega remains on the run and an arrest warrant has been issued for him.
