VALENCIA COUNTY, N.M. (KRQE) - Two Los Lunas men have been indicted in connection with the death of a Monterey Park man who died of an overdose.
Investigators say in February, 43-year-old Archie Manzaneares and 28-year-old Michael Brown dumped the body of Christopher Hernandez near the Manzano Expressway in Valencia County. Detectives say Manzaneares had intentionally killed Hernandez with a lethal injection of heroin, while Brown held the man down.
It is believed this happened after the men had an argument over a gun.
Manzanares has been indicted on charges of involuntary manslaughter.
Brown is facing a slew of charges including the unlawful taking of a motor vehicle and tampering with evidence.
