ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - The man deputies say led them on a wild drunken high speed chase through Albuquerque had his day in court.
Lawrence Gonzales faced a judge on an aggravated fleeing charge.
Police and sheriffs deputies chased the silver Dodge on Ii-25 Friday morning, after a 35 minute chase all over Albuquerque.
It started when deputies tried to pull over Gonzales in the north valley.
Deputies say he was drunk when he zigzagged through residential streets, then onto I-25 and then I-40.
The chase ended near Central and Unser when spike strips blew out Gonzales' tires.
He is out on bond.
