ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Police say a young man who was high on drugs is to blame for a crash that has left a woman in critical condition.
Clara Holguin, 37, was driving her vespa scooter on Marquette when a truck driven by 20-year-old Aaron Rosas ran through a red light last night.
Holguin slammed into the trucks door.
Police say she was wearing a helmet but still suffered extensive head trauma.
Detectives say Rosas admitted that he had smoked pot just prior to getting behind the wheel.
At this point charges have not been filed, but the investigation is ongoing.
