ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) - It is a small flier that is making a big impact on The University of New Mexico's North Campus.
It warns of a sexual predator driving a black car around the area of Tucker NE between the North Diversion Channel and Stanford and harassing women.
"I walk to work and school through this pathway everyday and I just, its really disturbing and I can't believe it," said UNM Student Wenonah Stevens.
UNM Police Lt. Robert Haarhues said the guy's been at it for a while but the most recent incident happened a week ago.
According to a police report the victim was running along Tucker near the North Golf Course when the man pulled up along side her and asked if he could take her to dinner.
The report goes onto say the man then drove off only to turn around and yell, "I'm, so horny" at her before getting really vulgar.
The woman called police then posted the fliers.
UNM Police told KRQE News 13 it is not just North Campus the guy's been cruising.
"He also was seen down by the sorority house acting suspicious getting out of his vehicle walking around getting back in his vehicle," Lt. Haarhues said.
Finally someone was able to get the license plate number, which is posted on the fliers and police were able to track the guy down.
Lt. Haarhues said the man denied doing anything wrong but the school did not want to take any chances.
