BLOOMFIELD, N.M. (KRQE) - A Bloomfield man is behind bars after police found 14 truck loads of stolen goods on his property.
Farmington police say 34-year-old Michael Shawn Clayton is linked to break-ins at numerous storage units.
Investigators say Clayton’s vehicle was caught on surveillance video on September 11th and he hit the same storage unit a few days later.
Police say Clayton would cut locks and then replace the lock with one of his own and return later.
They say Clayton may be responsible for at least 13 burglary cases in San Juan County.
