ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - State police have identified the man found dead at the bottom of a cave near Grants in late November.
UNM architecture student Fernando Enriquez, 23, is the man police say was murdered by Bryce Franklin and Clifford Bearden.
Enriquez was last seen Halloween night.
His body was found 65 feet down a cave in El Malpais National Monument near Grants.
Franklin and Beard were charged with his murder after police say store surveillance video caught the two using Enriquez’s credit cards.
Franklin’s mother, 51-year-old Sandy Franklin was also involved in the murder according to investigators. She has been charged with tampering with evidence.
