ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - For the second time in three days FBI agents and Albuquerque police are investigating an armed bank robbery.
Shortly before noon Friday a lone gunman entered the New Mexico Bank and Trust at 7021 Jefferson NE.
A teller told officers the man showed a pistol in his jacket pocket and demanded money.
He was last seen walking south on Jefferson escaping with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Witnesses described the robber as an Anglo in his mid-30s about 5 feet 8 inches tall with a slight build.
H was wearing a black knitted hat, black jacket with yellow trim, black jeans and white tennis shoes with black laces.
On Thursday two men held up the U.S. Bank at 2300 Louisiana Boulevard NE in Albuquerque's Uptown area. One of the men was armed with a semiautomatic pistol, the other with a rifle with a collapsible stock.
