Albuquerque police say a teenage girl was lured into prostitution and a man is now jailed, accused of human trafficking.
Kendal Merrell, 22, was arrested Saturday night.
Police say several weeks ago he promised to give a job to a 17 year-old girl who said on Facebook she was looking for work.
Investigators caught up with Merrell at his southeast Albuquerque apartment.
They say he told the girl she was going to work for him selling hip-hop magazines and DVD's.
But police say Merrell eventually forced her into selling sex even offering to sell her to someone for $3,000.
The girl is doing okay.
