ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Albuquerque police are investigating a bizarre shooting overnight.
Detectives say around 1:30 Sunday morning they were called to Leo’s Bar on Candelaria in northwest Albuquerque.
When police arrived they learned a black man drove into the bar's parking lot and opened fire shooting another man in the stomach.
Police are still trying to nail down a motive, but say the suspect was told he was not allowed in the bar and that may have sparked it all.
The victim was rushed to the hospital and is stable at this time.
Police have not released the names of the suspect or victim at this time.
