ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - A man accused of beating and stabbing a woman prompted a SWAT stand-off that shut down some streets in northwest Albuquerque Monday morning.
Around 6 o’clock Monday morning, police responded to a domestic violence call near 2nd Street and Menaul Avenue where they say a man battered a woman with a bat, then stabbed her in the neck.
The guy then barricaded himself inside the house.
So far, SWAT officers have taken two people into custody.
No word on the woman's condition yet.
