ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - An Albuquerque man heard something go bump in the night and that is when police say he accidentally shot his girlfriend.
Charles Robinson, a convicted felon, was not supposed to have the gun according to the cops.
Both he and his girlfriend, Amber Carlton, appeared in court Saturday.
Carlton was shot in the leg.
Police say she used a stolen ID at a local hospital to get treatment.
She claims Robinson gave her that ID.
Both face gun and identity theft charges.
