FARMINGTON, N.M. (KRQE) - A jury has convicted a former National Guardsman of attempted second-degree murder and aggravated battery in the death of a Farmington man.
Police say 26-year-old Kevin Tully stabbed Elroy Bitt more than 20 times in the back of the head and neck after he saw Bitt at his ex-girlfriend’s apartment last year.
Tully is facing between three and six years behind bars.
