Home intruder shoots, kills man

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - A man was shot and killed inside his home on Sierra Vista near Menaul Monday morning after an intruder allegedly kicked in the front door.
Albuquerque police say they received a call from a woman around 2:30 a.m. Monday who said someone had kicked in the door to her home, entered the house and fired shots – shooting her roommate.
The suspect then fled the scene.
The man, who is said to be in his 20s, was transported to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
At this time there is no further information on the suspect or what his intentions were when entering the home.
