TUCUMCARI, N.M. (KRQE) - A high-speed chase reaching 140 mph on a busy interstate ends with police drawing their guns on the suspects.

Police believe the two suspects also carjacked a couple at a popular Albuquerque restaurant the day before the chase.

Albuquerque police say a couple was carjacked on Nov. 12 outside the Texas Roadhouse restaurant on Pan American NE.

The next day New Mexico State Police were chasing a car down Interstate 40 near Tucumcari after reports men in a red compact had just stolen items from a Circle K store in the city.

The suspects tried to outrun police but eventually ran out of gas.

Police dash-camera video catches the chase.  Officers quickly learn the car the men were in was the same one  from the carjacking at the Albuquerque restaurant.

Police arrested Gilbert Moreno and Jason Decarlo.  They also arrested Samantha Farmer after she pulled up to the crime scene and police learned she was with Moreno and Decarlo.

Police say they found a small amount of pot in the car Farmer was driving.
