One of three men accused of torturing and killing a high school wrestling star over a drug debt has been sentenced to 40 years in prison.
Elias Urioste admitted he shot Vincent Espinosa, 19. However he denied being present when others shot Espinosa two more times, poured gasoline down this throat, set him on fire and dumped his burned body on the west mesa.
That's why a jury only convicted Urioste of manslaughter.
Prosecutors said he and two more men murdered Espinosa in early 2007 because the teen owed them drug money.
The other two men haven't gone on trial yet.
