Grandparents, father charged in fatal dog attack

LAS CRUCES (KRQE) - The grandparents and father of a toddler killed by the family dog have been arrested and charged.
Fifteen-month-old Jazilyn Nevaeh Mesa died in May after the dog attack in Las Cruces.
The girl’s grandfather, Arthur Mesa, and her father, Jesus Mesa, are each charged with one count of possession of a dangerous dog resulting in death.
The girl’s grandmother, Leticia Mesa, is charged with negligent child abuse resulting in death.
